Training is key

The constant march of technology means that there is always something new around the corner. Even at Correct we are constantly working to keep up with the speed with which things change. We understand the need to invest time in training as an organisation to become better and more knowledgeable about what we do.

We see many customers struggle along in ‘first gear’ when it comes to using technology. We try and help where we can but the best solution in many cases is to look at a formal training program. This program could be as short as a single session or as regular as on-going skill upgrades.

What is true is that users don’t have time to learn on their own. They also don’t have time to learn at home which many managers seem to expect. Many managers also expect that by providing ongoing training, employees would “up and leave”. However the contrary is true. Employees prefer employers who take an interest in their professional development and provide them with the opportunity to improve their abilities. This in fact makes them more loyal to a business that encourages them to develop.

A small investment in training can yield major returns, as employees are generally more productive and thus get through their work faster, and  they are more satisfied as they are not struggling and ‘fighting’ the technology to do their job.

Correct has a number of training options available for your business. From standard courses all the way through to customized courses, we have the resources to help you get the most from your technology.

If you don’t think your business could do with some training, go around and ask your employees if they would like some training and if so on what. You’ll probably be surprised to find that most would like some form of training. If you oblige, you’ll also be surprised at the improvements you see as well as a higher level of satisfaction.

Remember, there is nothing more frustrating than trying to make something work that you don’t know about. Providing a short circuit to such knowledge is the job of training and Correct can make it happen for you. Contact us to discuss your needs.
