Microsoft has recently announced that it is now making available branding and user self service password resets for all Office 365 users. These features leverage off Azure Active Directory and where once premium features.
This means you can easily customize the Office 365 login splash screen to perhaps contain a company image and make it more relevant for users. It also means that you can have your corporate identity displayed through out more of Office 365.
The ability for users to reset their own passwords using the Office 365 portal is designed to reduce administrative overhead. Once enabled by an administrator, users need to complete a number of verifications steps that will be used if they ever need to reset their passwords. These verification steps and their frequency are determined directly by the administrator and may include things like challenge questions, SMS notifications, etc.
Microsoft has also improved the reporting functionality of logins to make it easier for administrators to determine if there are security issues around login attempts. Administrators can now easily report on user logins and highlight anomalies that may indicate an attempted security breech.
