Network Care Program

Many of our clients have already discovered the advantages of having one of our Network Care Plans (NCPs) in place.  If you haven’t, perhaps the New Year is a great time to kick off a new way of looking at your IT.

One of the most important things that your IT partner should do is suggest regular, scheduled maintenance.  Dealing with issues only when they become major problems can end up being far more costly to a business than regular, preventative system maintenance.

In reality, under a pay-by-the-hour model, a customer would rarely pay for the same level of service they receive under a Network Care Plan.  For most companies it just isn’t viable.

So how do the Network Care Plans work? Our NCPs are based on “Best Practices” that we have developed over years of experience and continue to evolve. The plans consist of a variety of service level offerings that provide affordable and proactive IT management and support to growing businesses as well as the option to have monthly or quarterly onsite visits.

Am I locked into a contract? Our Network Care Plans are a signed agreement as opposed to being a strict contract.  The terms regarding duration state:  “Either party may terminate this Plan by providing the other party with one month’s written notice”.  So you can if unsatisfied with the arrangement cancel it by providing us with a month’s written notice.

I’m just after some monitoring of my system, so I know if something is not right. The Silver Network Care Plan is our basic monitoring & patching package.  There is no help desk/remote assistance included in the Silver Service Level Agreement (SLA).  You can still access these services; all NCPs have a discounted hourly rate so you save on any work that we conduct outside of the NCP inclusions.

I’d like to fix as much of my monthly IT spend as possible; what plans would include onsite or remote support and Help Desk? Our Gold and Platinum plans really focus on your business continuity, looking after things like

  • Remote support/Help Desk for Servers & Workstations covered under the agreement
  • Internet connection management
  • Disaster recovery testing
  • IT planning and consultation

How much will it cost me? Monthly Network Care Plan fees are calculated based on the number of servers, workstations and various other components particular to your business’ infrastructure, so they are very flexible and can account for all the normal fluctuations and changes that a business may encounter.

It stands to reason that the higher the level of service, the higher the monthly fee; but there is also a substantial increase in the amount of work that is covered under the agreement and this goes a long way to fixing costs and creating and maintaining a stable network environment.
