Here’s a really simple app that works in a browser as well a on your mobile device. Basically, it allows you to create a hierarchical structure of points that you can easily move between. You can expand these and add more information at any time. You can also apply hashtags to help further organize information.
What is so great about this app is that it is so simple to use. Of course you can search the information contained in the list at any point in time make it a really handy tool for capturing all that ad hoc information that forms so much of our time these days.

You can of course also share your lists with others and even allow them to edit. This can be a very handy feature when it comes to working in teams.
Workflowy isn’t as powerful as something like Microsoft OneNote or Evernote, however given its simplicity it probably has a place in your productivity arsenal or at least worth looking at because it costs nothing.
