If you use Lync, which is Microsoft’s instant messaging, web conferencing and chat client, then you’ll find the following
pretty handy we reckon.
In there you’ll find how to schedule meetings, working with instant messaging (IM), presence and contacts. You’ll also learn how to more effectively collaborate by sharing desktops, files and whiteboards.
The easiest way to get Lync for most people is via Office 365. You can of course deploy Lync on premise but the cost and configuration complexity makes it prohibitive for all but larger organizations.
If you haven’t looked at Lync then we really think you should. We use it at Correct to great effective as a speedy medium for people to keep in contact and reduce the amount of people send. If you would like a demo don’t hesitate to contact us to arrange.
