One of the fastest methods of communicating within a business is social (much like it is everywhere else it seems). With this in mind Microsoft has recently announced that it is rolling out Delve and Officegraph technology to Office 365 users.
So what is Delve? It is a method of delivering information to you based on your interactions with others. Delve looks at how you interact with others and then surfaces the information you need in a modern ‘Flipboard’ style interface.
A good example is that if you have a meeting with a colleague that is shared via a calendar appointment. Delve will note this connection and then when people from this meeting share information with others Delve will surface that information so you can also see it.
Probably the best way to understand what Delve and Officegraph is all about is by watching this video:
Delve is now rolling out to all Office 365 subscribers and should be complete over the next coming months, so watch out for it soon in the top menu bar of your Office 365 portal.
