    Attention!

On October 16, 2009 server upgrade will take place. Due to this the system may be offline for approximately half an hour.
The changes will concern security, reliability and performance of mail service and the system as a whole.
For compatibility of your browsers and mail clients with upgraded server software you should run SSl certificates update procedure.
This procedure is quite simple. All you have to do is just to click the link provided, to save the patch file and then to run it from your computer location. That's all.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter and sorry for possible inconveniences.

  • A new Trend in online security

    31 August, 2009

Without sounding like alarmists, it is safe to say the Web has become a dangerous place.

The number, types, and complexity of Web threats has increased 1564% from 2005 to 2007 (according to Trend Micro research) and there has been a definite shift from technical harm (outage or inconvenience) to business harm (identity theft, loss of critical digital assets, and harm to reputation).

The situation has grown even more complicated with the rise in the number of mobile workers. When they're outside the office, what infections might they get? And what do they bring back to the office when they return? Indeed, how does a small business take advantage of the Web both inside and outside the office, without having to worry about the risk to the business from security threats?

With all this in mind, Trend Micro have released Worry-Free™ Business Security 6.0; a safer, smarter, and simpler one-stop security solution that provides total Web, email, and malware protection for laptops, desktops, servers, and SMTP/Exchange Servers.

Worry-Free™ Business Security 6.0 is a cloud-client/server security solution, bundled with InterScan Messaging Hosted Security Standard (IMHS-S) which provides protection from 99% of all spam before it reaches your gateway. Worry-Free is designed to meet all the key security needs of SMB networks, protecting you from wide range of threats and potential nuisances. These include viruses/malware, spyware/grayware, spam, Web threats, unauthorized changes, macro viruses, malicious Java™ applets, phishing incidents, and malicious ActiveX™ controls.

Key new features of version 6.0 include:

    • Smart Scan technology - the benefits are faster time to protect and insurance against exponential growth of the pattern size on the client machines.
    • URL Filtering - lets administrators control access to websites based on their rating. Filter strength can be set to high, medium, low, or custom settings, and by business and leisure hours.
    • Smart Feedback - allows customers to feed back data about their threat experiences to Trend Micro, who then use this information to look for new threat patterns, find new malware samples, and improve the overall quality of the product.
    • USB Device Control - protects against malware that could potentially auto-install from a USB device.
    • Web Threat Protection - stops malware real-time, at the source, before it can be downloaded from the Internet.
    • Transaction Protector - protects users against malicious hijacking activities when doing online transactions.
    • Instant Messaging (IM) Protection - outbound content filtering protection and restriction of sensitive corporate data in the form of words or phrases being sent out through chat sessions.
